i thought this would be an easy job !!!!!!!!! how wrong was i
me being a vetren 8 valve remover that is !!!!!!!
i ended up taking it to an engine builder due to the 16v xe head being a bit fiddley removing the collets !!!!!!!!! as theres not alot of room

the hard bit i found was the valve remover was not big enough, i had to cut and weld it longer.

the collets are easy tbh, use grease and stick them to a small screwdriver, then once they are in a near enough place, undo the valve compressor and it puts them in place. you will get the hand of it after a few. :)

Im fairly sure I just used a universal one...Got it along time ago so cant remember what make it is. XE valves are much easier than alot of other heads iv had apart.

I think I paid about £15 for a sykles pikavant one from hellfrauds on trade card, it did a Z22SE head, and they are way way way more of a pain than an XE
