View Full Version : corsa with 2.0 8v
hey guys been a while from ive been on here i was thinking of fitting a 2.0 8v engine to my corsa was wondering do you need to run a bigger radiator in the car then, if anybody has any idea it would be great
nope stock is fine, as long as its not a 1.2 16v or 1.0 12v corsa. i converted my corsa to one these in a day.
Remember it needs to be a non-aircon rad too.
yep cheers lads it a 1.4 8v did you still use the f13 gearbox and small drive shafts are di you have to change up to an f20 with the big shafts,
anybody know where i can get a 4branch manifold for it
i ran an f16cr. its far easier to get shafts and use a big block box than foook around with an f13. 4 branch, try janspeed, or ebay.
as an aside, the 1.6 sport with a/c has a huge rad that is great with the bigger motors but the top water pipe is tricky
cheers what was the f16 c/r box in
f16cr arre in some cav sri's, astra gte 8v and astra mk2 sri's.
Shafts, 1.6 items are mostly 22spline (If you need some, PM me), Cav mk2 inners and then thats what ya need for a bigblock gearbox.
shaftec pj16 is the inner c.v. 22 splines are on 1.6 gsi, 1.6 sport and some td's
And Tigra 1.6's.
Easy to identify by the std corsa smallblock inner CV's
Well What About The Injection System Do You Need A Different Fuel Pump In The Tank Or Would It Be Just Easier To Put It On Weber Carbs
use a sport/gsi/sri/tigra pump. job done.
