any help/ step by step please thanks rob :thumb:
engine:1.4NV (carbed engine)
1. buy a new one.
2. get someone to fit it for you if you are asking this question.
seriously, slacken alt. remove belt, remove cam cover & cambelt. undo pump. remove pump, clean up surfaces, fit a new one, fit & time up new cambelt, fit cover refit alt belt, readjust alt.

Ahh Haynes Manual.
Hold with mole grips, beat with hammer until released.
Not forgetting other unnecessary steps: jack up car at rear, and remove left hand indicator lense. You should now be able to remove the water pump.
I agree with Mowgli.
may i also say, a little petroloeum jellly on the rubber seal holds it nicely and helps it seal.
