Hey guys,

i had a revalation the other day at work, in the fact we have a big old tub of stripper. which we strip steel with, so i chucked in an old alloy and it came out great. GOOD TIMES

so took my ATS classics into work today (overtime) and chucked them in. and they came out quite well. doesnt help they are corroded alot.

no pics yet of it as it came out of the stripper, but after some cleaning and in primer.

and compared to beed blasting, i think i would still rather have them blasted.

used to do this as a job in a large tank, i ended up in hospital once as the acid got onto my skin and started to eat into the bone , had to have a calcium injection into the area to stop making the bone brittle and snaping, could of lead to death, so i can say wheel acid, the proper stuff is king for wheel refurb, but not good if you get it on you skinlol

yeah and i wouldn't leave an alloy in there too long either lol

our supplier bought some of that stuff around once (we have the less strong stuff) and he said it can get into your bones etc and kill you. he said its that bad he shouldnt be driving with it! mental lol.

Sturge, they were in there for 3 hours each, two at a time. and there is no eating so to speak.

and i tried to get it out, as they are fooked, so i just painted it lol..

the best thing is to put a Magnesium wheel in it, leave it in the tank over night and when you get it out, it looks like the chesse with holes in it (not that i left a set in there over night by accidentlol ) stuff is so dangerous if you even breath it in, it can collapse your lungs , and rot them away after a few breath fulls, could this be why im a mad man??lol

ali or alloy...alloy wheels we did , you could put anything in it really, it was all about the time it spent in there:thumb:

cut the back off the valve and it wil pull out..:thumb:
