alarm problems................

ive got a cat 1 alarm fitted to me nova.......been fitted 7 years ago

for some reason the alarm keeps going off in the early hours of the morning....around 5am ish....i thought it was the sensitivity but it was doing it parked down the drive besides my bros house no where near cars or ppl.....whats wrong with it...my m8 said it could be shorting out somewhere.............

my old 1 did the same the engine warning light would come on all the time as well when i changed the alarm it stoped so i think it was shorting somewhere

check your internal sensors
on the g/f's car one is dodgy,keeps goin off at random times, also check if there is a cat or something jumping on your bonnet

ur battery is on its way out and the voltage drop is setting alarm off?
