whats the quickest standard steering rack for nova or carsa b, non-powersteering
many thanks :thumb:
iirc its a corsa b with the epas setup, the rack is a manual rack and 2.7 turn to turn
unless going quickrack which go down to 2.25 depending on the maker

thanks for that iv just been googling it, is the epas any heavier than a normal rack as im running it in the oval,
is it all engine sizes with the epas on many thanks
the epas setup is on the steering colum only, the rack is just normal, you need to use the nova steering arms as the corsa ones are longer.

yeah sorry, mine was from a Xreg 1.2
Late Corsa B's, usually 1.0/1.2, but not all of those engines have epas (My 1.0 dont have it ;)
Steering will be slighty heavier, but not much more than a normal manual rack.

No, you can only buy the internals to build into your original housing, although a seller on ebay offers recon racks so all bearings and seals etc are replaced but they arn't cheap

Somewhere that stocks Quaife gear, i know Demon Tweeks do but they are pricey. Keep an eye on the For Sale forum as second hand quickracks do come up fairly often and not badly priced either - i got a recently reconditioned 2.1 rack for £100 posted

Pretty sure one in the for sale section at the moment cheif.
you can buy direct from quaife.
There was a place that sold complete Quaife quickracks, but was about £250 so nowhere near worth it. Think I got my internals from Rally Design.
