well F13 stands for 130ftlb torque

so i'd guessa 200bhp engine would blow it apart

f10/13/15 could take a guts full
just fit a quaiffe gearkit

as for the f no. telling the amount of torque thats an old wives tale. cus the torque is gonna b different in every gear and the ratio's are different in each box. it makes little sense.

its not related to bhp it the torque. if your putting out over 120lbft then id go with an f15 or use an uprated f13 box <not cheap

didnt vaux do an F17 for corsa GSi's too??

if that can actually handle 170lbft then u may well get away with it

i would forget this f no. = ftlb of torque business tbh

the f10 and f13 have the same internals just different shape bellhousing
etc

i am using the f13 in a 1.7td running 20lbs boost which is anihalating 130ft/lbs, i'm putting out about 155ft/lbs & the box is fine
