m56 roadworks who got stuck at weekend?

as above from junction 6 to 8, its for the new bridge at junction 7 installed, further delays this weekend and the following weekend, i have now been told the engineers got the main support half a metre out lol,just hope the ready made bridge fits. I will upload a pic later on of forementioned bridge

well, i didn't get stuck because i listened to the traffic news, checked the highways agency website & planned my route, as opposed to flying up the m6 with the evil satnav

Best way, two more weekends if all goes to plan i took a few pics as they pecked it down, was a bit gutted as they usually blow them up:(

they don't explode motorway bridges in the uk, cos the roadway wouldn't take it.. what was wrong with the old bridge anyway??


a few years back they shut the m42 to erect some clever tower thingys with rollers on & pushed a new bridge across.. it looked cool in timelapse though
