thats what am trying to do not having much luck was meant to be picking one up on sunday but the guys phoned me saying its now seized:cry:
if your engines been a good one for you until now i'd rebuild it, at least you know what your working with and will be trouble free, you could buy another one and it could fail as most are old and tired :thumb:
Went through a few engines in my track nova a few years ago, eventually decided to rebuild a bottom end with competition rings, bearings and end caps etc.
Best thing i ever done, got a constant hammering round knockhill and is still going strong to this day :thumb:
If your doing it yourself can cost just as much as buying an engine possibly.

I'd actually pick the fix it option. As when you do (and if done properly) you want be scared to drive it hard. Buy a new one but you won't know the condition of it.
May not be a cheaper option but may be cheaper in the long run.
Just by an early 20xe. this is a good option as i have herd the early c20xe has forged or strenghtened internals of some sort is this right
