passenger chassis leg

Hi, I am looking to repair the passenger chassis oeg on one of my novas. 3 door hatch. How much am i looking or just to buy the chassis leg and can i still get them new?

Cant get them new. Bazil might have one.

just looked at the pic for your drivers one and it is actually the bit which attaches to the floor on the passenger side which needs relacing, forward of the floor it is in good shape, sorry being think but, is the bit I am talking about also the chasis leg?

Yes it's the chassis leg, my gsi has also gone in the same place which is very lucky for you, as to repair my car I've removed the full leg from another nova and put a guide together on how to remove the full leg, click this link

Thans for that and your guide is excellent. It looks a scary job, and it would be my 64 year old father who would be doing it, to be honest, it is a bit beyond him so I will look at perhaps cutting out and replacing what was already there, if the original is only spot welded on, I assume that constant welding patchwork should be as strong if it is done well.
