best day out ever!

well , been home for a few hours now, i went out to stapleford airfeild in essex for the birthday present mrs maris got me a ride in a slingsby firefly, and would like to say everyone should have a go in a stunt plane once in there life, at one point we were hitting 5gs, (five times my weight witch is alotlol ), it was the most fun ive ever had, vertical stalls, barrel rolls, and loops, it was so hard on my body that i lost all feeling to my hands, what a buzz!!!! i would post the video up but they wanted £45 quid for the disc on top of the £230 quid flight :eek: , so i didnt get one:( , (this is the plane i went in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yc6zjbI6kFA if anyone wants to take a peak) has anyone else done this?? thanks mrs maris!!!!!!!

Who was the pilot? might blag myself a cheap passenger ride as the FiL does a lot of "business" at stapelford :)not sure of his name, i was so nervous and excited i almost did a poo, stuart, if you can get there, the pilot works in the main office for flight bookings, he said if the weathers good, ten flights a day he dose, i reckon he has the best job in the world, do it, best thing ive EVER done, made buying another nova last nite seem pointlesslol , only bad thing as i say is £45 quid for a dvd of the flight, bit steep imo!!

it wasnt a wing walk day, it was advanced aerobatics, better in imo as its more mental than the others, would love a go in f16 next, i reckon that would be a tad dearlol , about 5 grand a second!!

looks like good fun, would love to try skydiving. did paragliding in the alps when i was younger and wanted to try it but i'd never been in a plane and didnt fancy booking it any paying for it then finding out i might not like planes haha. never followed it up once i had been on a few flights though. maybe one day...
