engine wireing help

hi lads got a friend who is putting a nova sri engine in his 1.2 single point nova all i need to no is how to wire it up cheers dan:thumb:

you need to cut all of the spi stuff out, from the bay and behind the dash. then wire the loom on the engine into the car.

well, it is down to the age old problem of : if you need to ask, you might not be able to do the job.......

the basic wiring loom is pretty much the same on efi novas, so with a haynes book as reference, it should be quite easy.

That's fine if you can read wiring diagrams, where many people cannot.

Then there are those that shouldn't be allowed to touch wiring, let alone modify it.

Some of the cars that ComptonCJ's brought home to fix have looms in them that I would only describe as "condemned, ready to burn!"

its colour for colour, but you need to tap into the clock feeds for the coolant, revs etc, and the fuel pump feed is on a relay in the engine bay. cut the plug off, get the red/blue and tap it onto the red blue on the engine. shame your in essex or wherever, if you was local i'd have charged £40 and done it for you.
