Just took the nova in for its MOT and it failed :( overall brakes were 49 percent, emissions were 10.033 percent, insecure front seat, split cv gaitor, side light bulb out and two new tyres needed. Not as bad as I thought it would be :)

Yeah I know but would rather just see what its going to fail on and fit it all in one shot lol
[food for though] I wonder if when you haven't even given the car a quick once over at the very least, how many testers think 'fcuk them' and are much more likely to fail it on trivial things.[/food for thought]

We both knew it was going to fail. I know the lad that does the MOT so just wanted to know what else was to be done. Its easier for me to know what's wrong then fix it instead of fixing it then it fails and I have to try and get into garage again to do more work.
You took a care for an MOT with an insecure front seat ?

I didn't realise it was insecure. All the bolts are in place and tight but it was the back support that is not locking in place when it goes back. The pin that it holds On to has cracked and bent so its not in the correct position.
