im doing a conversion on a corsa c 1.8 sri and put a z20let in it. got it running but there is no throttle response. it will rev up but its got a 2-3 second delay? ive cheacked the wiring and changed the peddle. anyone got any ideas?

PM Turbo Chris on MIG.

I have dealt with him, and he is a really genuine and nice fella.

He breaks loads of GSI Turbos, and Im sure, If you go up there, he will let you swap bits over, until you find the fault, providing you buy the part off him obv.

its got a vxr one on it so i dont want to buy one if it ant that? i cant see how the afm would affect the throttle response tho? but then the wiring on these are sh*t idea. should keeped it simples like the c20let loom and ecu and just updated it. i realy wish i never took this job on now lol but then im leaning form it tho :(

If it's got a vxr afm the ecu will need remapping for it to work

Also no point in fitting a vxr afm if you don't fit the injectors and fuel rail

its got all the vxr bits on it and its been remaped to phase 3.5 was all running ok in the astra it come out of

fixed it now and im very impressed. it goes realy well. just needs a atb diff in it as it loves to spin the n/s wheel up alot lol

one wire i forgot to solder together. all runs sweet as now.

it was a brown n white, it was one of the 6 wires needed for the throttle. i used lmf wiring digrams
