I don't know why but just recently I'm finding these pretty much awsome!
What difference in weight are the loons compared to a hatch?
And are there worse off handling wise?
it is 5kgs difference and in my opinion they handle better than the hatches
i thought thier would have been more than 5kg in it
i sure did what one can be made lighter when stripped

what, any car will be lighter if you strip it

expand on this Burgo :d
You can fit more rubber under the arches for a start
:confused::confused:

when they are both stripped out which is lighter
expand on this Burgo :danytime i went quick in various hatches i crashed lol. where as my saloon i trust completely, even when you do go into a corner a little to quick the back end just slides a little so piece of piss to control.
when they are both stripped out which is lighterwell the hatch obviously but still only by the same 5 kgs worth of metal which makes the saloon a saloon :wtf:

I scrapped my nova hatch and I'm waiting for my let being lumped into a corsa C! I think I'm gonna have to buy a saloon as a second car :D
dont be at all surprised if you find yourself more compelled to putting the let in the saloon. if you thought the nova bug bites hard wait for the nova saloon bug to get you.

Iv had 5 novas since I was 16 I was pretty much gutted when the bloke at the conversion garage said my no a was fooked :( but the corsa was so CHEAP it just smelt like the right think to do!
However while I'm waitin for it to be finished I can't stop looking for other nova's!
I may just sell the c to buy another one ;)

Do it!!! You will soon get them green blobs back lol
fooked how? i wouldnt have took a random blokes word for it. are in mind garages charge about £50 an hour for welding so a days worth of welding in theory means its not worth it, but thats bull.
the corsa c didnt come from the same bloke who said your nova was screwed by any chance did it?

No he just wanted a ****e load more money on top of my bill for all the extra welding and stuff... I wanted it back sooner rather than later so I found a donor C for £350 52plate in all honesty I would have rather paid the extra to get the nova finished! But my stupid mistake... And I haven't got my car back yet! Iv bin off the road 3 months if not more now!
As for the rep... Minus 200+ atm I think itl be a while before I get green blobs back lol
Novas came in hatchback form? :wtf:

Surely the arches would have to be squared to look more like a mark 2

Why would a saloon have square arches you plum....:wtf:

no that would make it look more like a hatch the front wings are mk2 5dr/4dr wings, and also bazil was featured in tv a few years ago when it had an xe on 48s, and theres at least 2 other let saloon 2dr mk2s in production
Please don't open up that debate lol

i rang up about that saloon earlier lol just looked at it again.. the blokes told me if it doesnt go well on ebay as its on there atm i can have it... its £17 for the train down there and iv got my rac breakdown cover for the way back :) hahaa
i think that cyprus red saloon looks mint if it didnt need the ecu and that wireing up id have probly had that.
you buying another one?
My saloon is still taking a lot of money, hoarding bits and getting parts ready to reassemble. I have a red three door in my back garden that I should really have on the road as a runaround but just have no motivation to do anything with it. I'm also promised a blue J plate 4 door in April next year that should be good when it turns up, but I'm a few months behind you Rich with my misses having one in the oven so I'll admit no Nova is getting my full attention lol.

tbf i doubt mine will be out next year havent even looked at it since it got put away, no time at the minute but we will see
There is no harm in it staying parked up, as long as you stay interested and motivated, would be good to see it get rebuilt though and I'll promise not to drive into it again lmfao

i imagined they'd look better than that tbf iv got a wide arch kit sitting in the shed.....
i think i like plain old mk1s with rounded archs alot more......
If the round arches were flared out it would look better. Some people have done it, but I don't have any pics. I've got plans to beef up the arches on mine just a touch too
