Nova fuel gauge

When i first purchased this car it never had more that £5.00 at any time due to it being off the road. The fuel gauge was working fine but as soon as it was on road i filled her up the neadle went up half way then dropt and now it does not read at all any help cheers.:wtf:

Common problem buddy, could be a break in the sender itself or a poor earth, I fixed mine on my first nova by cleaning up the earth but i know the senders give trouble as well.

Were do i source a new sender its a G plate mk1 1.4 sr and were is the earth? cheers.
