c20xe sloppy soup gearbox

got a nova with a c20xe in using an f16 gearbox as far as i am aware the gear box its self is really sloppy u cant feel the notches when it goes into gear its like stirring a spoon in soup trying too find the gears lol will a short shift conversion kit from lmf sort this problem hope u can help me thanks

It will be worse with a short shifter as it will become more precise in action, yet the play & inaccuracy you are suffereing is a worn linkage balljoints & bushes.

Most of it is NLS from dealers but you can rebuild the linkage with rosejoints & tighten it all up. See the articles section.

does any one make and sell the linkage with rose joints on it do u know? what do u mean nls dealers? can i just salvage the one i have

iirc the nylon bushes they sell on ebay for the corsa/astra mk3 linkages fit the nova ones and tighten them up quite a bit.
