magnesium wheels are daft prices mate theres no such thing as cheap magnesium wheels well not unless you get lucky on the bay

how light you talking are comp mos ect not an option as i belive there relitivly light although i could be wrong

dont forget though different tyres weigh different so buying and 800 quid set of wheels and then throwing a heavy set of tyres on sort of counter balances the gains

Yeah i had a set of MO's but they are VERY heavy!suppose they are built to be very strong and take the punishment of rally stages etc.

TE37 is a pretty light wheel. And cool.

I was pretty surprised at how light my Kazeras were, considering they're a bit bling. lol

If your talking 15", then Desmond Regamasters are 3.9kg each and go for around £750 2nd hand, usually on the Honda forums...

The lightest Rota do is the JSPL at 4.9kg in 15".

I've got 15" astra sport alloys on my nova, just weighed one I've got lying around with no tyre on it out of interest. Comes up at 8.25 kilos, thought it would be more than that.

Good call Mike. You can't beat cheap rim deals (lol)

The main advantage to a Weller is if you tw4t a curb you can beat it back into shape or MiG it up also. lol

I've had a few sets of them when I was gonna run some on the 360. Circuits FTW.

I'm getting a set of these made for my Nova at the moment;

http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll66/hillclimbescort/13-wheels-red.jpg

3.6kg for an 8" x 13" wheel. Forget MO's and the like if you want to save weight.

Mind you, I wouldn't rate the chances of my new wheels surviving a rock strewn rally stage.
