well iv got my R1 carbs and H&H dizzy. just need to know what fuel pump is good to go for. done bit of research and it said something bout the r1 pump is all you need or if you have something like a facet you need a regulator aswell

any one using a r1 pump on there set up? part number?

Im using the R1 pump, Its all you need as it has a regulator built in, Just wire it up, Blue is live, black is earth.

You only need a regulator if running the likes of a facet pump

Yeah, I believe any carbed bike pump is pressure sensing and will stop pumping at about 3psi I think. I jus searched Ebay for the cheapest off a carbed bike, R1 pumps tend to be expensive. Anything over about 600cc should flow enough fuel I reckon depending on how highly tuned your engine is.

pretty much as above, the R1 pump will stop pumping if pressure exceeds 3psi

there are 2 r1 pump i see, a black one (maybe an earlier one) and a white one. any differences?

you got it connected just to an ignition live then? cheeze

white on seems to be the intank version, i used the black one,

Yeah just wire it into the ignition live, as it pressurises the system then stops and restarts when it needs. I also have a switch just to cut it off

was running an r1 pump until it melted...! I would suggest mounting it in the engine bay. I had mine at the rear and it obviously struggled. Now running a facet pump and filterking reg.

i was going to sell my one but i might just use it now. i paid 35 on ebay for my one.
