SR Seats in a 1.2L

iv got myself a set of SR front and back seats, iv tried fitting the front but wouldnt go! (was in the dark tho! :roll: ) do they just go or will i have to fuck about getting them in??
any help would be appreciated

they should jus go straight in mate, u may have to tap the little metal thing down on the rear bench, but thats it

yep they deffo go str8 in cos the 1.2 sting comes with sr seats as standard

if its the L that suggests v early nova - the sr seats are held in with 2 bolts at the front and a sort of c shaped bracket that slots into the floors sub frame bit. Depending on the model the old seats are held in with a clip that needs to be removed to get them out.

The 3/4 seats are held in place using a bracket that supports the 2 rods (with like stoppers on the end) - the lower spec novas ( not all though ) dont have this so to stop the seats flapping about, you'll need to fashion some sort of bracket. I used 2 fenc post brackets modded and bolted to the inside of the spare wheel well to secure mine. Works great.

The only other bit with the rear seats in the front mount8ing pivot brackets. You'll ne short one so the seats if lifted up will flap about. You can try making an bracket but watch where youre drilling coz the petrol tanks right underneath you!

are the SR seats the recaro buckets, the same as what is in the GTEs?
