View Full Version : Mk2 Headlamp Adjust Motors
Has anyone got a wiring diagram for how these are wired? I have the plugs for the motors and the switch, just want to add the wiring to the loom whilst adding a couple of other cables, then reinsulate for a factory look
Thanks in advance
I need to keep the 2 door 1l loom thought moglli or are sugestting just getting the front bit and adding it to my loom?
yup, rob the bit you need
when i'm sober, i'll look in the haynes & decipher the wires.
right i've had a nosey at the diagrams..
the motor adjust switch has 2 feed wires,
1. a yellow taken from the lh dip beam wire, (yellow, 0.75mm2)
2. grey/green, from the dash illumination circuit
and 2 wires out,
brown 0.75mm2 to earth, & brown/yellow 0.75mm2 to feed the motors..
the motors themselves have 3 wires,
brown/yellow 0.75mm2 from the switch, yellow from the lh dip beam, and brown to earth.
as long as you got the block connectors with the motors & switch, it should be a doddle.
Thanks should be a piece of p1ss cheers again

Got a loom here graeme, out of a late mk2 MPI, so it may have them on it?
Ive cut the loom up for bits etc, so you could come round for bits?
Graeme, don't know if you need the motors or not, but the mk2 headlamps were available with man adjusters too. (useless and irrelevant post most probably lol)
I have found this out recently John, as one of my new ones is double manual adjust, but the matching pair have the motor holes and seeing as I have the motors and plugs thought I should give it ago, cheers for the heads up though
