just put one into my astra van wired up everything as was in the vectra donor, but i have one red/blue wire near where the transponder goes, think its a speed signal wire, do i need this connecting to get it to fire? if so what do i hook it up to?

you will need to attach it to the gearbox speed sensor from a 1.2spi :)

what if a digi dash is being fitted? i am fitting a X30xe on vectra x25xe loom and ancillaries to a mk1 astra hopefully? sorry to rob the thread

the spi one uses a cable so fit the spi then the digi one ontop :)

Wouldnt the egine start without it connected though. sureley theres no signal unless te vehicle is moving?

it could be a immob pickup....

it should, but everytime you drip the clutch it will stall lol
