Need Help with Carb

As i previously asked, "where can i get a new bigger main jet for a pierburg 1b1 carb"? Ive been through the yellow pages and rang everywhere, but no where can get hold of one for me! Is there any way of makin the mixture richer to suit my k&n bolt-on filter without changing the jet? Its a vauxhall nova 1.2 with a pierburg 1b1 carb. Cheers!

as far as i know, pierburg don't do carbs anymore so hence no supply of jets and things. the best you can do is find another pierburg carb off a bigger engined car and nick the jets from that.

the pierburg 2e3 from a 1.3 or 1.4 has a bigger jet than the 1b1

use the jets out of a 1b1 carb for a 1.3
