My Brother has been complaining about his golf from cold start ups?
Its a MK4 GTI 150 (FSH @ 80K)
It will start up fine and appears to idle as normal. When driving the car It has a very noticeable lack of power, and makes a waffleing noise as the rev's build (sounds more under the car than in the engine bay?) as if it has a muffled waste gate lol
It only seems temporary ? as once warm (5 +min) the power is on tap and it doesn't make this strange noise.
It isn't every morning and has only just begun being an issue since this colder weather came along ?
Any VW pro's ?
He's owned the car for only a few months ? So have no idea if its a common problem or not ?
