mines on weber 45s and a rally exhaust and not even a wee backfire and ive tried my best to get it to do it as i used to do it for a laff when i was younger with my 13sr and i thought i would get some belters out of a 2l16v with 45s but no joy

my 1.2 and 1.4 sr do lol but mainly only when slowing down and down gearing not asmuch when upshifting

my Xe does it mainly when i rev the balls out of him and then just let off and let it slow back down although i have managed to do it a few times whilst shifting up
i want him to shoot flames out the tail pipe though as he only spits them in the pipe at the minute :(

my mates scoob with its split centre pipe does it brilliantly. i can vouch for baxters xe, it loved it. top tip:

2nd gear, accellerate to 6-7k, key off 1 click, boot full of throttle key back onwith foot hard down. (carbs only)

for those who have injection, find your coil perm feed wire, usually black. cut it, run the wire back into the cabin, to a rocker switch. mount this near your steering wheel. follow the above tip but instead of turning the ign off, flick the switch off then back on 5 secs later. it shoud bang like a fooker. :)
