Hi, I have recently installed a set of R6 carbs on a X16Xe, I have put 160 jets in, blocked the air corrector holes and tried to slow the slide speed down by blocking holes in the slides (not completely).
I know there is a lot of chat about motorbike carbs but I find it very difficult to find anything stating exactly what to adjust for use on a car and how to get the correct mixture throughout the rev range.
I was wondering whether anyone on here has done a similar setup themselves and has any advice/tips. I have a wideband system from 14point7 but it has broken and is being returned so untill that arrives back I don't know what a/f it's running. Seems to pull really well at the top end but seems a bit lacking lower down. Does anyone know about adjusting the needle height or anything else for that matter on R6 carbs?
