dun more checks(GSI ENGINE PROBS AGAIN) and find the oil pres is looking high nearly full on gauge but at tic over drops to the first line on gauge also after a long run it needed quite alot of water M8 said it could be a head gasket prob? :(

yup, either water leak of gasket, and those oil guages r not very accurate, just do a good job of telling u when its empty :)

headgasket is easy enough if you have the tools

the hardest part is trying to undo the rusty bolts on the exhaust manifold. Thats what i found neway.

the oil pressure sender units always fuck up but that has to be a blown head gasket if yer losin water. is the oil gettin gunky under the cap?

oil pressure is unreliable anyway unless youre absolutely 100% you have the correct level of oil in i.e. overfilling will result in high pressure
