The wiring can be a nightmare mate, im going to convert mine to daytime mot (no need for indicators lights etc) as its a pain when it starts playing up. Anything more than an aftermarket exhaust and jetting and these things can get seriously unreliable lol. Typical italian two stroke tbh. But when there working great theres nothing else like them:d .

Like all italian bike.

The wiring is sh!t

The Chrome and finish is sh!t

The engines are fragile

They go well, but oil pumps arent the best.

And most have been owned by a 17yr old, who just rides and doesnt maintain.

Lookout for worn bearings, especially headstock (circa £80 for bearings)

And run it on decent oil.

You can rebuild one yourself for £400, or get it done for circa £1000

As with most things....one person has a **** one so they all are

On the flip side...my mate had one back when we were 17. Never missed a beat. Rocket ships IMO. Always wanted one.

hit or a miss really could keep blowing up or could run for ages my advice is turn the 2 stroke pump up and run it with a slight amount of 2 strke in ur petrol it will run a bit smokey and wont be as fast as it could be but will be megga reliable

Go for the Evo model, has an extra gear. Thats all I know, my mate had one years ago (2002 ish). He got 33bhp from his with an Arrow system, racing piston an some other bollox.

Micron is Magnex BTW. The carb will have the little carbon blade things in, Reed's or something there called IIRC?

Yes Mike, reeds. Carbon ones will be stronger than the original plastic ones.
