can anyone give me a little more info i know the basic principle but unsure how to modify the idle speed control valve to let it keep the system out of vacuum state,
my car is a escort rst s1 zvh on efi ofab,
i have seen a kit on the bay basically cuts the spark for so many milliseconds as opposed to retarding the timing,
or i go p8 cossie management or l8 with antilag chip,
also i know i need to upgrade my turbo to a gt with maram shaft
any more info appreciated:thumb:

You NEED a ceramic turbo ideally. Antilag equipped ECU or aftermarket managment. If you go Pectel P8 board get your wallet out & run an 8 injector RS plenum (thats if they can be fitted to a ZVH motor?)

you will need a turbo with a maram shaft to run antilag

how big a turbo are you going to be using?

tbh i dont think it'll be worth it for the money its going to cost you, i would of thought you'd be better off diverting the money into other parts of the engine build

i get what you mean may put the money to building a pukka zetec turbo lump and switch to omex or emerald with a roller braering gt turbo is definately on the cards

As stt says for your reason of liking the sound its really not worth it IMO. Cylinder temperatures will be sky high, loads of stress for no apparent reason. Them maram shafts arent cheap either...

probally right guys i am sticking to 18psi to keep it useable on the road but its a decent enough spec to see 250bhp so should be more than plenty:)

thanks guys for your input:thumb:
