urgent advice on xe loom through bulkhead!!!

I need to get the 60mm hole drilled in prep for painting,
does it get drilled behind where the battery normally sits?
if not, where?

but most of use do behind the battery as the loom reaches the under shelf for the ecu

Thats another aspect of XE Novas I dislike. ECU on the dash shelf..

i was going to remove my dash and mount it on the firewall

I think i'd perfere mine inside where its slightly drier! Doesn't bother me being the shelf
