mate just got a ?6000 bank loan paying off ?175 a month for 5 years, he's spending it all on his car.

I know ppl say dont get into debt, i know this just from my ?1000 credit card but what is the best place to get a loan from? and how much over a grand would be a sutible amount to pay off in a year?

anyone else taken a loan out for their car?

1. DON'T DO IT!
2. Speak to your bank, make-up a few numbers remind them how long you've been a customer.

I've never owed anyone more than a tenner in my whole life, I intend to keep it like that.

?6000
?175 x 12
x 5years
=

, yup, if u lend a few k they just slap a ?500 borrowing charge then its about 7-14% apr which means about ?100 per ?1000 borrowed per year.

Neil - have a chat to the alliance and leicester, they do a pretty good APR at the moment and its much lower than everyone elses. Worth a try if you really must get a loan.

Alternatively, i'll sort you out with a sawn-off and something to put over your head.

He already has something to put over his head... leanne makes him wear it a few times a week for half an hour or so.

I am reliably informed it has my face printed on the front
