mk3 astra gsi ecu

hi there i bought a 2.0 16v c20xe nova from a friend which was converted from an mk3 astra gsi....ive changed everything on the car, sensors, loom etc i put standard inlet manifold on it today and done away with traction control inlet...... still getting backfire and a fault on tps.... do you think the ecu will only work on traction control setup????

It shouldnt make any difference matey - there are two main types of ECU - one for DIS and one for dizzy - if it fires up, the ECU is the correct type...

Is the light on all the time?

Bring it to mine and we can chuck it on the Nova!
