What was the standard tyre size on these?

205/55/16 iirc or its 205/50/16 i know they were 205's and 100% 16" but cant remember if they were 55 or 50's lol

Why you ask, you have one you want to swap for a V6 estate vectra?

Hmmm not sure how well that will look on an astra but well worth a go, they look cool on a vectra estate trust me lol

Seen them loads of times on MK4 Astras they look good on hatches

I've always wondered what they look like on Vectras and Astras

At PVS saw a vectra with them on and didn't think they suit it tbh

Then last week I saw an Astra G hatch in town with them and they looked spot on, car was stupidly low though

I like it tbh, its slammed yet practical, i live in speedbump city unfortunately and it catches the exhaust on every one, so cant really go down more although id like to, especially the back end to level it out lol

Scrapping the exhaust isn't too bad it's when the whole car scrapes like my Corsa it gets painful


There used to be a MK4 Hatch on Mig with them on it was really cool, it got written off though, can't find the thread

Go back and look at my pic, can you see the exhaust dropping below the level of the floorpan, the answer is no, its sat up in the transmission tunnel, i have to aim over the humps to only scrape the exhaust and not the floor, makes for some interesting maneuvers, hence my sticker on the bootlid 'Im not drunk im just avoiding potholes' lol

That's the fuel tank you can see less than 2" off the deck and the rear springs even closer. The sills aren't much higher. When this car scrapes it's not cosmetic **** like the bumpers. I get the floorpans, spring shackles, subframe, handbrake cables (run under tank) and obviosuly exhaust. Had to remove the centre box as I caught it on something and it snapped my downpipe. Not it just sliiides along obstacles. lol It sits lower than that now too, and the ghey exhaust is in the bin. lol

BTW. I know I'm not mega low ;)

That's a nice lowness. Mine scrapes underneath, can't go any lower with ET33 wheels else I would. I raised the Coilovers 15mm up the thread from where I had them on my Nova and people never commented on that being low but now all the chavs love how low my Corsa is

It's probs just that pic you posted not doing it any favours I guess dude. With a splitter/bumper combo like you have to be as good as scraping then it must be low. :thumb:

Chav at work put "60mill springz broooo" on his Corsa and thinks it's the lowest car on the planet, he had 4 lads in it the other day, college speed bumps and all you heard was a little metallic ting from his centre box
