View Full Version : Straight (finless) GSi sideskirts
Seen these before but can't remember who did it. Anyone got any pics of sideskirts modified to not have the fin at the back, just straight all the way along?
The rear parts are just fronts cut down to size matey.
Yeah figured that'd be how it was done, just wondering if anyone had any pics to get an idea how it'd look.
have a look at lee Hearseys car, iirc he had them a few years back.

novaxe235, i take its yours, it fapping gorgeous :wisewood:
what colour is it? got a build thread or anything (sorry for 21 questions lol)
As for the comment svlet made : :cuckoo: :tosser: looking at the time he posted im guessing he was drunk from a friday night
Fins all the way. One of two uber cool things about Nova's that instantly set them apart from other similar looking cars IMO. The other being the awesome square arches.

I can't see the pic, need to login.
I think the skirts look good fin'less. Mk2 Cavalier SRi's have a similar thing as do Carlton diplomats. Obviously its a good way of keeping the door mouldings & having skirts too.
cant see pics either, sounds a decent car so get some pics up in here.

This (http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156279) could be why lol
Looks good IMO. I prefer them without the fin. Might even try and source a couple pairs for mine... could be handy with the Astra GTE arches I have too

What about Astra Mk2 GTE sideskirts on a Nova ? Anyone done that ?I haven't seen any fitted to a nova, i looked at them when i did my first ones about 8-9 years ago and they look to thin, IMO. Nova ones are good because there a straight fit using the original clips etc, and they look "right" i think.

Manta GTE ones have been put on a Nova. Grey one in old PNG mags.

id be tempted to put the join inline with the front wing gap if they were somehow long enough so the wing can be removed without removing the side skirt.
