Hi all, basically ive got a set of spare c20xe injectors sat here, there white/cream in colour. I just wondered if theres any gains to be had fitting them into my 1.4 sri?? Ive got a 4 branch manifold, decat, induction kit etc already. Or am i just going to be over fuelling it? Was just a thought really, these rainy days tend to pop ideas into my head:roll:

cheers

Would just be overfueling, You need more air before you need more fuel!!!

so would a k&n and polished throttle body give enough 'extra' air? i have some blue injectors (i think they are 1.8's) and was thinking of doing this

actually i think you do need more fuel before more air?? dont you melt engines with more air first? ;)

Its not enough to need more fuel, the ecu will figure out there is slighty more air going in, and inject more fuel, its only once those standard injectors get maxed out that you need "larger" ones.

You need a method of giving it more air. Even if you did, the map sensor & ECU together, would add enough fuel.

Putting on biger injectors just isnt necessary, Vauxhall are quite good at building in tolerences for tuning on their engines & gearboxes.
