View Full Version : not a nova problem (fault code reading)

ok i have a 2007 skoda superb 1.9tdi classic:gay: but its my taxi. so just recently it started to not drive quite right feels like no boost .so i plugged it into a bluepoint code scanner thing.
It came up with no codes but it does let you drive and look at live data. first thing i thought was the AFM but it seems to be working fine. the only thing that does not seem to change is the throttle positioning sensor/switch its reading 93% all the time does this seem normal or is that broken.

I'd hazard a guess at thottle pedal or ecu fault then, but would expect you to have eml on.

no lights on the dash the pic above on graph mode was me driving for about 10 mins and it never changed. and its out of warrentylol

yep turbo seems fine too no smoke or horrible noises.

have you checked all the vacuums?

do your brake feel any different?

You know anyone with vagcom? Out of warranty?

I was looking at getting vagcom as I have a couple of issues with the S3, £218 or £280 for the pro setup, any gen on it?

not looked at vacums. and the brakes are fine.

Tbf i've not seen that much of it. A colleague at work has it for doing foreigners, the only thing he can't do with it is programme keys iirc. He says there's not much difference between gen and the vagcom stuff.

i found out that i need vagcom to set my headlights lol

kev the vagcom isnt just audi it covers all vag cars, i'll link you :thumb:
