im not on about changing policy.im with sky, just seems daft paying out £xx per month for a car that doesnt get used and has absolutely zero chance of being stolen, only reason i want to keep the policy running is because it costs money to cancel and i have 0 ncb and need to keep the policy in order to get the 1yr ncb

Laid up cover is what you're after.

Some insurance companies might gripe about it though. If thats the case, consider reducing the cover to a very limited mileage policy, TPF&T, garaged etc

Sky dont offer laid up cover.
Said my best bet was to "run a cheap car" til Nova emerges from its hibernation
