Colour Change

Hi,

2 Questions.

I am turning my car from grey to black.

1. I know i need to let the dvla know but is it a simple case of filling in the colour change part on the v5 and then done?

2. Insurance i need to let them know too do you think it will bump my price up or would it stay the same?

V5 just needs editing to show colour change, yeah. As for insurance, tell them but cant see it making any difference. They may ask why the change mind.

when i changed the colour of my first nova. the insurance said they were going to bump it up £500. i was 18 tho

I wouldn't have thought a colour change would make a difference on insurance, so long as its not some whizz bang fancy bollock paint

Makes it a modified car to a lot though hence the premium increase. Stupid I know.
