View Full Version : 3 point harness where to fit??

Hello question to your knowledge.... :d

ive modified my gsi seat frames to fit my sparco seats and i have a 3 point harness but now scratching my head on where is a good place to bolt harness to....

one point is either rear brace or rear old seatbelt plug what about other 2?? ive got pictures if needed of seat frame and harness?

if the brace is welded in, go to that, if not use the original seat belt holes in the rear floorpan.

For the ones closest to the door, use the ones in the side of the chassis, and ideally for the middle, you want to fabricate a spreader plate with nuts in the exhaust tunnel.

Mine are in the rear seatbelt one, original one in the sill, then i drilled a hole in the exhaust tunnel and tacked the proper fixing underneath..
