need help to find????

I'm selling a engine on ebay its a 1.2 and got ask the question what is the engine code is it a 'st' or 'nu' engine so went to have a look at where he said and couldn't see it please can some post a pic of where i can find the engine code on the engine and what number i should be looking at thanks:thumb:

It is on the block just below the cylinder head near No 4 cylinder, rh side as you are looking at the front of engine, as installed, number should be XXXXXSB nova 1.3 SR engine as an example

Engine code will be either ST or NV (assuming its carb).

If its a J or K reg Mk2, could well be an NV; anything else will probably be an ST.

ahh fair point. though some noobs think they have a "carb'd 1.2 mayte, no limiter!!!" and its an spi..... :d

na mine was a carb'd 1 sold it any way lol
