I need to get these bits for my Sport,

Which are the best ones to get ?
Coils seem to be cheap from factors but are they any good ? Do I need one from Vaux ?

Leads also vary in price massively, is there any point in spending loads on a set ?

What plugs do people recommend for a 1300 ?

Thanks in advance Edd

i've just got standard bits on mine, can't really see much benifit of spending loads on race coils, leads, plugs etc on an engine like these its not exactly the most refined motor outthere, i'm saving the money for keeping the carbs in tune regulary which will probably give better gains than the above

standard set of leads dont be tempted by halfruads 25bhp gain jobbies !
to be honest if you buy an aftermarket coil you will still get a 12 month warranty just the same as vauxhalls !

Hickley Valtone. Bosch ones. (leads)

Main thing is to be sure they connect properly with your dizzy cap.

As for plugs, std NGK single elctrode jobs. Well cheap with my trade card at Halfrauds. Gapped properly obvioulsy.

Coil try Hickleys again or Mill. They will do pattern ones that look the same as OE ones, as Grant says, they'll be warranted anyway (if you keep the receipt for once in your life).
