In that case dont, they'll blow the feck out of door panels or 1/4 cards. faded down or high pass filtered they are a waste of space.
get an old shelf with holes & spray it brown?

My mate has a back in the day stealth shelf in his Polo GT Coupe, it looks original and is very well made. Might be worth trying to make your own as cars usually look silly with 6x9s in the parcel shelf and in my opinion make crack heads eyes light up to potential ICE in the boot

Get shelf, cut a piece of MDF to the size of the recess in the shelf and screw it to the underside of the shelf, screwing through the top of the shelf until the screws have sunk flush. Drill and jigsaw out the shape for the speakers.
Spray the top of the shelf with carpet glue and glue some acoustic carpet over the holes, keeping it taut, it will mould to the contours of the shelf keeping the standard look, I don't know if you can get it in brown though, you may have to spray it.
One thing I wish I'd done was staple some fine mesh over the speaker holes, before gluing the carpet down. This will prevent the carpet from sinking and from other people prodding the carpet covered hole like the drooling idiots they are when you tell them there's speakers under there and they have to touch it to believe you, f*cking your shelf in the process due to their inbred lack of fine motor control skills.

Mount the speakers from the bottom as you can see above.

I got a home made stealth shelf somewhere, i will try and get some pics and you can have it cheap if your interested..
Imo the 6x9s will be best left in the box in your boot lol
Get some aftermarket speakers to fit the oe mounts and if you really need bass then fit a sub:thumb:
in the boot so you can take them to the skip
