After messins around with lots of small block (7) i come across a shaged out 130 astra GTE for peanuts so i snaped it up an stripped it of the only good

once the engine was out me and my mate (green in the pic) slit the box of and put it on the stand for clean up and replace any leaky seals

I had a lot of fun with that 8v then the big ends started to knock so i started looking for anuther motor, i didnt want to go down the red top road i wanted something you dont see that much of so i went for a V6 X25XE as soon as i seen it i know it was the one for me

i was going to try and make the body strong to hold the struts but theres just not anoth left so thats why i had to make the frame, i have seen 1 or 2 other ways of doing it and fort this was the best for me

this is something that i built for my mrs around my own ****
built it so she could do the track days too, she had a go but its not for her i was a bit gutted as spent a bit on the motor ie all gaskets oil pump spent alot of time on the head, coil over kit goes well on the track,

as all the weight is on the sub an space frame all i need to do is make it strong anoth to be pushed from the back rather than pulled from the front i ges i want on if its good anoth intill i get it out on the track so at the moment its all about hope

got lots more pics that i will put up tomorrow, i had the motor running today after weeks of messing around with a new K6 emeralde ecu that i had to buy as it turns out that the only way to get a saab motor (after the age of 98) running in another car useing the factory ecu is to have 20kg of loom sat with you wich is not idle, so after making the loom for this K6 and a bit more messing around it come to life and ran sweet as a nut. not much more to do now maen things wide archs, rollcage and tie up loss ends
