depends how much they rub?

you want to fold the lip up a bit carefully or grind it back to the welds, failing that use a jack in your wheel arch to flare them out a little.

if u got the cash - go the body shop. i am

didnt someone on her suggest tapping along the arches with a rubber hammer, but not hitting it too much, just a gentle tap, my arches have been cut to the weld!

best folding them!

I tried tapping mine out (before I took it to a bodyshop). Be careful that you don't put a crease in the arch as it will stand out like a sore thumb. Best thing to do is take it to a body place and ask them to grind off the inner lip. They should also treat it for you to prevent rust coming through. It shouldn't cost too much to do it either.

i folded them a little with a crow bar in between the wheel and arch and then cut them off with the grinder. Then fibreglassed it up and are now reaqdy to be repainted.

This is my drivers side that i am working on. Cut all lip and rust away and filled the holes with fiberglass and ready to make a new edge with more fibreglass. Also de-bumpering it! Paint came off though so looks like its going to be a body filler and a re-spray job!

i even thought of grinding back to metal and covering it with fiberglass resin to keep the metal look.
