alrite everyone, my names nathan just starting out on the nova scene but looking forward to it. i will be picking up my mk1 sr next friday and also a c20xe to rebuild it and put it in the sr at some point, cheers:thumb:

Sounds like a good plan, is the shell you're getting pretty solid or will it be a full on project?

shell is pretty solid so wont be a full on project, just needs 2 patches of welding but all seem welding has been done.

welcome along mate once you get a xe in it you wont stop smiling and they are fun to drive and wipe the smile off overs lol

cheers mate ye i know i drove my mates one and ever since then i have wanted one, it has got the 1.4 lump still in it but its been out afew times and had bits put on it like cam and lightened crank etc and thats pretty quick. only other route to go down was eithe a c20let or z20let, what do you think?

welcome and an xe is quick enough if you havent been in a let but if youve got deep pockets do it lol nah havent been in a let but i just like feeling that boost when it kicks in as i miss my 200sx:(but i suppose the sensible thing to do is just go for the 20xe with maybe some internal goodies?

welcome along mate. make sure you fit an f16cr box cos f20 in a nova is crap. imo.

Why? An F16cr would be screaming it nuts of (literally!) at 80/90mph. IMO.

i have driven both fitted with f20 and f16 and was disapointed with the f20 one. just my preference tho.

I got bored of my old 20XE pretty quickly tbh, it wasn't all that fast.
