how do you go about doing this? i need them about half a cm wider. is it a specialist job?

no not at all but more than likely you will crack the paint i got mine off ebay a few years ago though pal

if you go really wide, it will need some work to get it nice and round again.

mine are flared, to fit 7,5 banded steel, 15 minute job.

yes the kit worked and it is simples if you dont go silly with it and take your time

it took 15 minutes with the correct toll to widen them? theres two tools on ebay and their only for rent so im thinkin it mite be just as easy to get a bodyshop to do it?

to widen 1 side, but mine are very wide.

Can use these tools so it doesn't crack the paint ?

Or you need them repainted ?

there is always a chance of cracking.

but when youre just doing small work, heat the paint a bit with a heatgun before you roll them, gives the paint a bit more flex.

prob less than that pal and thats up to you if you want a bodyshop to do it
