Tried taking the back of the rear seat out today to carpet it to finish me boot install.. consulted Mr Haynes look easy.. went to take it out.. and would it come out.. would it FCUK!!

The haynes shows the plastic type of holder having a slot at the top of each side.. my plasticy things were fixed.. there were no way of gettin the back of the seat off without taken the whole plastic rails out in the process too..

in the end i just carpeted it without taking it out. (which ended up taking probably double the time it shuda :( )

is there neway of gettin this out.. i got the back seat which is just 1 whole part (not the 40/60 split) just wana know for in the future and also cause i was trying to get it out for best part of an hour but didnt wana break the seat!! :( :(

if its how i remember it i think you only have to press the plastic clips in the middle and the whole affair pops out. there may be summit involving a split pin as well but i cant honestly remember. definately comes out quite easily tho.

yer i took the split pins out.. lets the seat move left and right.. still not enough movement to get it out though :(

the black plastic runner has to come out with the seat

i prised mine out with a screwdriver on my old car, i dont know if i was right to do that or if theres another way?
