First off id like to say hello...Now for a question my 1.2 litre carb nova splutters alot in the rain and it does it sometimes when its dry was just wondering would anyone know what this might be?

Welcome. Check all the usual electrical/ignition items, dizzy, coil, leads etc to make sure moisture isnt affecting them.

As Matt said I would check the HT leads, Coil, Distributor and and Rotor arm first

the distributor is not the best sealed device on the car. but basically go round everything with a can of wd40 & a rag

Thanks guys...Just spray the wd40 on the outside of the distributor etc?

I went through a massive flood a few months back, drenched something, changed plugs and leads and all was well. So yer spray with WD40, it's a Vauxhall part, it'll find its way inside the distributor :D
