hi, if a 15 year old took a car out and police came and he ran off and got bail soon but the police aint caught him what would he get when he turns up for his bail ? :)

lol dont worrie mate you or should i say the person in question will get a banned but they shouldent be able to prove it in court my mates have done this loads of times and aint in jail for that anyways

Probably fined and given a record may even get a ban but as you cant legally drive at 15 I doubt they would do that.

it doesnt it starts from the day they come out off court trust! my pall was banned at 13 for taking his mums fiesta out as he thought she would be at work all day!! he was wrong she phoned pigs saying the car was stolen he got f*cked lol

in my ideal world, they'd be paraded round town in an ox cart & locals will throw turnips at them..... but in this modern age, they'll find out your mum waited a week to get you the ps3 & they'll send you off on a safari to help you get over it, followed by renting you a flat.

i was under the impression that they couldnt ban you from something you couldnt do anyway, so if your 15 and get a 1 year ban, its suspended untill you are 16? may be wrong but thats what i was always told.

ah right. just seems like a totally pointless waste of time to me. ban a 13 y/o and by the time hes 14 its lifted, but he would never have been driving anyway, and still wont be for 2 years! :tard: :wall: its not worth wasting our taxes on **** like this

a small diesel trike, with a 1t load capacity. i first drove one when i was 8. it didn't have a reverse gear, you simply turned the engine round & went the other way. our is still a runner & i'm going to let my kids have a drive on it when they are old enough

Right,to clear up the "ban" thing.You are sort of banned by age anyway before your old enough to drive,so will get treated the same as anyone who drives without a licence or insurance.Say twoc'er dave gets caught in a nova on his 14th birthday,gets put before magistrates and gets a 12month ban,"wow is that it?" you may think,no,if hes caught at anytime again in those 12months driving whilst disqualified,he will more than likely be sent to prison or subject to a coummunity rehabilitation order ie probation and community service.Then when the ban is up he is back to where he started,when he is 17,providing he has learnt the error of his ways he is allowed to apply for his licence.

Fook me, not seen one of those in a while. We had one at work in the iron cellar about 10 years ago for moving the metal bars about on. Was REALLY scary to drive. We sold it to a guy from the Lister Owners Club to be restored...

poof.. i was 8 & my brother was 9 when my dad turned up with it, and said... if you are big enough to start it, you can drive it.... we were on that starting handle night & day, getting thrown backwards and bruised, but after a week, we'd got it going.. we would drive it flat out round a field with about 20 mates on it

so, the 15yr old in question is already on bail ? he has taken a car out and when the police arrived he legged it and as such hasnt been caught in the car ?

taking all the facts/stories into consideration damper would deny all knowledge of everything involving the car

you on about the idiot that dumped his corsa in sainsburys and then ran up the vista bragging about it to everyone and i told him to get lost?! stupid pratt, i dont know if it was you or not but you dont take a car out, no tax test or insurance, dump it in a car park, run off and then brag about it to a group of people 10 years plus your senior and expect sympathy because the police are after you!!!
