Right I've found a broker who will insure me for £1820 on a nova let but originally before I bought it I got quoted 1460.

I've tryed ringing sky but they can't insure me as I've only been driving a year after my ban :(

I'm 22, 1 years ncb, and my convictions are : sp30, sp10, cd10, dr10, ac10

Does anyone know any other companies I could try?

thats with graham sykes insurance, its a broker based in exmouth, devon.

i payed £1820 for a years insurance fully declared all mods, and convictions.

£450 deposit and 9 monthly payments of £166. its the same price if you pay monthly or up front. but you require a credit card for the deposit.

was £1000 on an xe nova

It sounds a lot but for a let it isnt too bad imo. my quote on a 1.2i is 1700 third party fire and theft, no ncb and convictions declared. considerin your convictions and age id pay that to drive a let all day long. im 19 though so i get raped by insurance, even before my points it was 2600 on my old eg civic and not a lot less on my xr2i.
